Cigarette prices in Egypt stabilized on Monday, September 29, 2025, following the recent increase officially approved by Eastern Company for Tobacco in local cigarette prices, effective July 18, 2025. The price cap for a pack rose to EGP 44, up from EGP 38.75, in implementation of the value-added tax amendments recently approved by the House of Representatives.
